Quality at PPPS

The aim of the Quality in Schools program is continuous improvement. This means continuous improvement in all aspects of the school; administrative processes, teaching and learning processes, the development of strong, positive relationships and of course, continuous improvement in student achievement.

Our PURPOSE:

Plenty Parklands Primary School is a place of learning.

We educate children as lifelong learners to thrive in our rapidly changing and increasingly connected world.

Quality Principles

The people who comprise the Plenty Parklands Primary School community operate according to the following 7 Quality Principles

Principle 1

Value is added to the community by all members acting in a way which reflects our shared values, vision and purpose.

 Principle 2

Strong relationships that value people and their contributions within and across the school community result in greater commitment to the achievement of shared goals.

Principle 3

Knowing our clients and stakeholders and what is important to them will determine how we aim to meet their needs.

 Principle 4

Continual improvement of our system and processes using a PDSA cycle will have a positive impact on student learning and development.

Principle 5

‘Stepping outside’ the system to look at it with fresh eyes will improve our processes, relationships and outcomes.

Principle 6

Using facts, data and knowledge and distinguishing between common and special cause will lead to improved decisions.

Principle 7

Living by these principles at all levels of leadership; adult and student, will support our school to reach its full potential.
