Yard Duty - Student Supervision

yard_duty.jpg

There are three teachers on yard duty at each entry gate between 8.45am and 9.00am in the morning and 3.30pm and 3.45pm in the afternoon. There are six teachers outside on yard duty at recess and six outside during the lunch break. One staff member is on duty in the library for students who like a quieter environment. The yard duty teachers wear fluorescent vests for easy identification. They carry basic first aid supplies in a bum bag and carry a folder with a photo (for easy identification) of children with life threatening medical conditions.
