Camping Program
Plenty Parklands Primary School has a comprehensive camping program. It is structured to assist students to develop levels of independence appropriate for their age group and to experience a range of educational activities. The camping program is an opportunity for children to enjoy experiences and share meals and accommodation in a caring environment away from their families.

Breakfast at school in pyjamas with their teachers. |
Year 1 |
An evening barbecue at school in casual clothes with their teachers and volunteers. |
Year 2 |
A day camp with their teachers and volunteers. |
Year 3 |
A two night / three day camp in Warburton with their teachers and volunteers. |
Year 4 |
A two night / three day camp at Phillip Island with their teachers and volunteers. |
Year 5 |
A three night / four day adventure camp in Neerim East with their teachers and volunteers. |
Year 6 |
A three night / four day camp to Australia's capital city, Canberra, with their teachers and volunteers. |
Family Events
Plenty Parklands Primary School provides many opportunities for families to participate in school family events. Some events such as the term 1 Family Fun Night and year 6 Presentation Night occur every year.
Some events such as the School Concert, and P-3 Family Dance occur every second year.
Other events occur when the opportunity is appropriate - open afternoons in classrooms; choir performances; debate nights; information nights; sporting events and year level nights.
Volunteer training is not needed to join in these events unless you are in an official volunteer role.
